Terms of service
In force from 7 September 2026.
Who you are dealing with
TRAGIC Insights sells and operates this service. You can reach us at hello@tragicinsights.uk for anything in these terms, and South African law governs them.
What the service is
TRAGIC Insights finds local businesses from publicly available sources, scores them against the customer you describe, and runs multi-step outreach across email, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn. Replies arrive in an inbox inside the product.
You get an account and one or more workspaces. Agencies may keep each client in a separate workspace; what happens in one workspace is invisible to the others.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed monthly, in South African rand, through Paystack. Your plan renews each month until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next charge — you keep access until the end of the month you already paid for.
If a price changes, we tell you by email before the first renewal at the new price, so the change never arrives as a surprise on a statement.
Search credit
Searches spend prepaid credit, because each one buys data from outside sources on your behalf. Every plan includes a monthly credit amount, and you can top up at any time from the billing page.
- A search that fails is not charged. Only work that completed spends credit.
- Credit has no cash value, and belongs to the workspace it was bought for.
- Unspent topped-up credit is refundable on request; credit already spent on completed searches is not.
Refunds
If we charged you for something that did not happen — a double charge, a plan renewal after you cancelled, credit that never arrived — write to us and we will refund it. We answer refund requests within two business days.
Acceptable use
You may only contact people in ways the law where they live allows. The product enforces some of this for you — every message carries a way to opt out, and a person who opts out is never contacted again from any of your campaigns.
- No deceptive senders, subjects or content. What you send must say who it is from.
- No use of exported data in ways that would be unlawful where the recipient lives.
- We may suspend an account that puts other customers’ deliverability at risk, and we say why when we do.
The data in the product
Lead records are business contact details gathered from publicly available sources. They are provided for business-to-business outreach; once you export them, using them lawfully is your responsibility.
How we treat data about you is in the privacy notice.
What we promise, and the limit of it
We run the service with care and skill, and we fix what breaks. Nobody can honestly promise a number of leads or replies, so we do not. Our total liability to you is capped at the three months of fees before a claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters — anything about money, data or your rights — we email every account before it takes effect.
